Also known as Adelaide International Airport, the principal airport of Adelaide, carries the international IATA code of ADL and the ICAO code of YPAD. Adelaide Airport is Australia's fifth-busiest airport in terms of passengers. In 2018/2019 ADL handled 8,527,000 passengers and managed 103,212 aircraft movements. Over the same period in 2016/2017 Adelaide's airport handled 8,090,000 passengers.

ADL is located some 6 km / 3.7 miles west of the city center and sits at a slightly elevated position of 6 metres above sea level. ADL is next to West Beach and well connected to the city, West Beach and other parts of Southern Australia.

Internet: Free WiFi is available to passengers throughout the terminal. Switching on their mobile device passengers will see the network 'Adelaide Airport Free WiFi' to which they can log on by opening browsers and logging on when the relevant page appears on the screen.

Banking and Currency Exchange: Inside the dual-purpose terminal there are three Travelex stores where passengers can purchase or exchange more than 50 major foreign currencies. The stores are open every day of the year. Travelex stores are located before and after customs and offer passengers who have pre-ordered currency online a collection service.

Automatic Teller Machines or ATM's and Foreign Exchange ATM's can be found on the Ground Level and Level 2 of the terminal.

Taxi Ranks: The white vehicles drop off at Atura Circuit, which is between the Terminal and Atura Airport Hotel. The terminal can be accessed via the northern doors, where lifts and escalators lead to Level 2, Departures. For Arrivals passengers the taxi rank is located on the western side of the terminal. Concierges direct passengers to available taxis.

Buses: Jet and Jet Express Buses connect Adelaide Airport with the city centre, Glenelg and Greenwith. Single and day trip tickets can be purchased from the driver (Adelaide Metro Infoline tel +61 (08) 8210 1000, or https://adelaidemetro.com.au for timetable and full pricing information). Jet Buses leave from Stop 10 on Airport Road, South East Side near Lot 50 Sir Donald Bradman Drive. A single Metro ticket costs AU$5.60 during peak travel times and AU$3.70 during off-peak travel times. Day trip Metro tickets cost AU$10.60.

Baggage Storage Lockers: Lockers can be found near the car rental offices on the ground floor of the multi-level car park (for more information, please visit www.baggagestorage.com.au)

Car Rental: Rental desks are on the Ground Level next to Baggage Claim. Car rental companies at Adelaide Airport include: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Thrifty and Enterprise. Other car rental companies deliver directly to the designated parking area for passenger pickup.

Car Sharing: GoGet vehicles are located in the airport car park behind the Terminal's multi-level car park. If you wish to share, you need to join the scheme first to access GoGet vehicles (www.goget.com.au) or similar car-sharing schemes at Adelaide International Airport.
